  2. distilled.

Nitroethane with Water

Components:

(1) Nitroethane, $\ce{ C2H5NO2 }$; [79-24-3] NIST WebBook
(2) Water, $\ce{ H2O }$; [7732-18-5] NIST WebBook

Experimental Values:

The solubility of nitroethane in water at 293 K was reported to be 100 w1 = 4.5. The corresponding mole fraction, x1, calculated by the compiler is 0.011.
The solubility of water in nitroethane at 293 K was reported to be 100 w2 = 1.5. The corresponding mole fraction, x2, calculated by the compiler is 0.059.
