Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
The analytical method was used. A mixture of (1) and (2) was placed in a thermostated cell and stirred for an hour. The compositions of the phases were determined by gas chromatography.
Source and Purity of Materials:
- Distilled in 1.2 m packed fractionating column; b. p. = 114° C; n(20°C,D) = 1.3920; d(20°C,4°C) = 1.0520.
- Distilled in 1.2 m packed fractionating column; b. p. = 98.4°C; n(20°C,D) = 1.3877.
