Original Measurements

Suri, S. K.; Talanta 17, 577 (1970).

Variables:

Ambient temperature: 313 K

Prepared by:

V.P. Sazonov

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

The titration method, as described in Dunnery and Atwood,2 was used. Solutions and solvents were thermally equilibrated and held at constant temperature during titrations. Enough solution was taken to give a titer of 10 to 20 mL.

Source and Purity of Materials:
  1. Source not specified; purified by methods as in Weissberger1; ρ(30°C) = 1125.0 g L-1,ρ(40°C) = 1110.8 g · L-1.
  2. Source not specified; purified by methods as in Weissberger1; ρ(30°C) = 868.5 g L-1, ρ(40°C) = 857.5 g·L-1.
  3. Source not specified; purified by methods as in Weissberger1; ρ(30°C) = 769.4 g L-1.ρ(40°C) = 759.6 g·L-1 .
Estimated Errors:

Ambient temperature: control to ±0.1 K.
